We are a product-led company which means product management is a key function in driving Zip forward. At Zip we use modern product management techniques in both discovery and delivery. Product Managers at Zip work closely with engineering and design partners, as well as stakeholders like the data team, compliance and risk. 

As a Product Manager on the Merchant team, you’ll be responsible for the Zip checkout experience that appears on merchant websites. You’ll get to work with large and small merchants, as well as many of our Big Tech partners that provide integration opportunities. 

How you'll help us change the game 

• Help define and drive product strategy for the merchant checkout product
• Talk to users, review product feedback, prototype concepts and iterate to ensure we are building customer-focused solutions
• Dive deep into data and our dashboards to recognize trends, find dropoff and areas for product improvement
• Define requirements and user stories for engineering, keeping agile principles in mind
• Keep stakeholders well-informed and involved in the process
• Partner with engineering throughout the delivery, testing and launch process
• Develop go-to-market plans for launch awareness, sales enablement, beta testing, and monitoring product performance

What you’ll bring to the team 

• 2-5 years in a product management or product-facing role with some notable wins
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for financial technology and empowering merchants, partners, and customers
• Strong customer empathy
• Take-charge mentality, growth mindset, detail-oriented; self-management
• Experience delivering results in a data-driven environment
• Background in e-commerce B2B (or B2C) experience preferred but not required

The Pay Range for this position: $160,000 - $190,000 USD based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and Zip's compensation strategies. However, actual base salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
