Senior Fraud Analyst
- Technical expertise with SQL and ideally an experience within fraud, you might be an Fraud Analyst who is ready to take the step into a Senior role!
- Help Zip fight the ‘bad guys’ and protect millions of our customers from fraud.

When you join Zip’s Risk team, you will be putting your name to a variety of business-critical initiatives attached to our ANZ strategy, including uplifting our credit risk management, fraud control and decisioning capabilities
In a world where fraud is becoming increasingly complex, Zip’s Fraud Risk Data team exists to strengthen our processes attached to fraud risk governance, monitoring and prevention.
Machine Learning modelling and fraud analytics using advanced technology are both fundamental to our success in this space, keeping our customers safe from scammers and our business protected from fraud losses.
Cool stuff you’ll be working on:
- Analysis of data to optimise real-time application and transaction fraud strategies.
- Support the development of analytical findings through reports, dashboards and data visualisations to monitor for fraud trends and raise the visibility of fraud threats.
- Perform ad-hoc data extracts and analytics to support complex fraud investigations.
- Work closely with the Fraud Operations Team to respond to rapidly evolving threats and implement rule-based analytical solutions

- Technical expertise with SQL
- Domain knowledge in fraud, particularly if that experience is in a financial services environment.
- Exposure working across decisioning systems
- Experience with Shell or C# is a bonus!
- Experience with DBT, Snowflake or similar.
