As a Senior Product Designer at Zip, you enjoy ambiguity, you understand how to create a vision that can then be divided and shipped to customers, and have strong stakeholder management skills. 

You'll work closely with rapidly growing cross-functional teams to ship and deliver quality products for our Zip customers. 

You will have the opportunity to work on various product initiatives including integrating with merchant partners, design refresh on key journeys and repayments. As such, we are looking for experience with optimisation as well as bigger product builds.

You and your team will be working across our mobile app, and web, mainly focused in the Consumer space and liaising with teams such as accounts, payments, core product and more. 

This is a hands position of end-to-end product design.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 5+ years working in interaction, product, or UX design
  • Have a portfolio of interaction, UX and visual design work that demonstrates your ability to solve customer problems and drive strong business outcomes, with experience on similar areas including mobile apps
  • Experience designing for native mobile and web
  • Experience managing and coaching designers
  • A solid understanding of visual design and how to ship product 
  • Experience working in product squads with product managers, engineers and data teams 
  • Experience running lightweight, lean design experiments
  • A curiosity for uncovering the true “why” of a problem
  • Ability to turn insights into thoughtful narratives
  • Proven track record for close team collaboration and influencing outcomes with a well-informed direction
  • Ability to measure success of designs
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems
  • Ability to prioritise competing priorities in fast-paced environment

Nice to have, but not required for the role: 

  • Experience with design research
  • Some experience created business cases within the financial services domain
