Senior Integration Engineer



  • Integration Engineer who possesses technical expertise of REST/APIs and familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and at least one programming language, preferably PHP, .NET or Node.js  
  • Strong cross-collaboration skills coupled with the ability to architect and deliver innovative product solutions tailored to client needs

As a Senior Integrations Engineer, you are responsible for defining Zip's product solutions for our most prominent merchants and partners based on their needs. You work closely with the Partner Success team to provide technical product knowledge and support during implementation.

Interesting problems you’ll get to solve

  • Working with merchants and partners to solve their current payment challenges
  • Collaborate with Zip product and engineering teams to ensure our product solves today's and tomorrow's merchant and partner problems
  • Becoming an expert in payments and BNPL
  • Trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Owns technical aspects of the implementation process
  • Responsible for the delivery of solution proposals to clients
  • Leads product demos and presentations
  • Provides technical input into customer proposals
  • Translates product and business requirements into innovative solutions
  • Defines client needs for customized solutions
  • Architects solutions in collaboration with the client
  • Leads the realization effort for developed solutions
  • Contribute to the public developer portal to ensure best-in-class documentation

What you’ll bring to the team 

  • Minimum three years experience in working with and/or implementing web technologies, especially in e-commerce and payments
  • Experience leading implementation discussions with technical audiences
  • Outstanding problem-solving ability, eagerness to learn, and curiosity
  • Adaptable attitude and personality that is ready for continuous change
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • 5+ years of relevant work client-facing experience (presenting to the C suite of Fortune 1000 companies),  with web technologies, including payments and/or e-commerce
  • Problem-solving mentality with the ability to listen to merchants and partners to ensure the solution is a great fit
  • Proud of the way you can communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences of senior stakeholders
  • Not only good at the tech stuff but can easily present your solutions together with the responsible Account Manager.

The Pay Range for this position: $135,200 - $162,240 USD based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and Zip's compensation strategies. However, actual base salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. 

Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
