This is a junior role in Zip's newly formed growth stream in Commercial, as part of this team you will be responsible for managing ongoing relationships with our top Gift Card & Affiliate Partners in Australia and New Zealand. Your focus will be to increase growth associated with partner relationships, identifying, pursuing and executing commercial objectives.
Interesting problems you’ll get to solve
- Be responsible for setting up, implementing and monitoring promotions across Gift Card and Affiliate channels, including documentation
- Support the growth of key relationships across your portfolio, executing operational requirements for key relationships across Zip’s Gift Card and Affiliate channels
- Be responsible for supporting strategic account planning including monthly updates, quarterly business reviews and annual account planning
- Develop marketing pitch decks for internal and external stakeholders, working alongside the Growth Team
- Collaborate and project manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all parties are on track with planned projects, deadlines, and schedules
- Collaborate cross functionally across business units including Sales Support teams, Marketing, Product, Growth to advocate for and drive change to continue improving Partner and Customer experiences
- Contribute to daily operations with product and engineering leads to proactively identify opportunities and/or service operation risks
- Oversee the integrity of projects and product issues, ensuring accurate and timely completion alongside our product team. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating systems and user needs, documenting procedures, and defining scope and objectives
- Assist in the implementation of new programs and products
- Financial reporting against KPIs and scorecard to monitor and optimize account performance
- Lead merchant launches and partner with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth roll out of merchant onboarding
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and continue to source and feed net new leads into your pipeline
- Assist with the development of your sales pipeline by managing each stage from prospecting to closing
- Support the financial modelling and pricing on all promotional activity for mutually beneficial outcomes
What you’ll bring to the team
- A minimum of 2+ years experience in demonstrated ability to sell products or tech with a track record of securing and executing marketing promotions.
- Previous experience or a keen interest in Digital Gift Cards and Affiliate Networking
- Previous experience working in Fintech, Financial Services or FMCG is highly desirable
- The ability to analyze business problems centred around improving the customer experience and business operations
- Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of the Google Suite and Salesforce
- A track record in working on Media Kits and/or presentation material for businesses to share key data insights and analytics
- Excellent commercial astuteness, communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- The art of managing different personalities and customers to gain desired outcomes
