As US Martech Lead, you will serve as the connective tissue between our Marketing/CRM, Product and Engineering teams as we dive deeper on leveraging our best-in-class technology stack. This data-driven, technical expert will provide the exciting art of the possible while applying a lens of best practice across optimization, automation, personalization, CRM and digital experimentation. This is a greenfield opportunity for someone with deep technical expertise to develop and lead a cross-functional capability using industry-best martech tools.

What You'll Do:

  • Work across stakeholders in the business to craft solutions and offer best practices for utilizing the tools in our martech stack. (Amplitude, Braze, Optimizely, Segment, etc.)
  • Play an integral role in building out automated customer lifecycle management, performing funnel optimisation, powering personalisation and enabling digital experimentation.
  • Take a citizen-developer and “clicks-not-code” approach to building and optimizing wherever possible to power speed-to-market and reduce our development costs. 
  • Interpret business requirements and build technical requirements for all martech related solutions.
  • Work with product engineering teams as needed to get requirements into backlogs and negotiate them to be delivered on time. 
  • Be on the tools and in the data everyday. This is an action-focused role.
  • Drive relentless optimization for both customer outcomes and the way we work internally with our tech.
  • Assist business teams in interpreting customer data and identifying/correcting any challenges as they arise.
  • Manage the connectivity and destination mapping of data between our SaaS tools using Segment CDP.

What You Should Have:

  • 5+ years of experience scoping and delivering cross-platform digital solutions focused on customer engagement/experience, growth, product marketing and/or optimisation.
  • A strong understanding of how data moves between modern platforms; microservices, utilizing webhooks and APIs, connections to data warehouses, reverse ETLs, etc. 
  • Experience with real-time customer engagement platforms such as Braze and Iterable. Braze experience is highly preferred. 
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) such as Tealium and Segment and specifically the data connection components of these tools. Segment experience is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of SaaS platform cost drivers and how to solution for economies of scale.
  • Understanding of digital iteration; getting to sustainable MVPs quickly, reading results, and scaling your solutions. 
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Can jump into the tools and data at a moment's notice and dig in to help the teams.
  • Previous experience in Fin-tech and/or App-based company preferred
  • Solid project management skills - ability to lead, develop and provide clear direction, prioritization and planning
  • Strong stakeholder management, ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task, and flourish in a fast-paced environment

  • Delivery of key OKRs as defined 
  • Increased utilization of martech tools across the business
  • Driving value across growth, revenue, digital performance, risk management and cost management

Pay Range: 125,000 - 172,000 USD

The Pay Range for this position: Minimum - Maximum based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and Zip's compensation strategies. However, actual base salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
