About the role

As the Senior Financial Analyst in our FP&A team, you will own and be a key contributor to our various reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly) for both internal and external stakeholders. 

Reporting into our Senior Manager - Financial Performance (US), you will partner with the US Leadership Team and broader Global Finance team, as well as other key stakeholders as required, to produce analysis and insights for senior management, including for the Founders and Global Executive Team.

You’ll also:

  • Manage the month end reporting process for the US FP&A team, in partnership with the Financial Control team, including setting timetables, instructions, templates and requirements, and assisting in pulling together the Exec & Board reporting packs
  • Track and analyze key metrics on weekly and monthly basis, create standardized reporting template for those metrics, and report findings to the US leadership team
  • Work with US leadership team to create and track department level budgets, ensuring headcount, contractors and vendor spend is appropriate and understood by key stakeholders
  • Track upcoming merchant opportunities and commitments with the Sales Team and ensure these items are clearly communicated across the Global finance team
  • Assist in producing analysis and insights for senior management, including the global exec team and the Board
  • Help define, adopt and implement consistent group processes and policies that support continued growth, including driving continuous improvement of these processes
  • Work with Financial Operations on system and tooling support for FP&A team (including the maintenance of our local Anaplan workforce planning model), as well as support & collaborate with other Finance teams, particularly Treasury and Financial Control
  • Be a key contributor to the preparation and consolidation of long-term strategic outlook models, as well as providing ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business strategy as required

To help us level up, you’ll bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
  • A passion for and experience working in Commercial Finance/FP&A as part of a fast paced multi-national organization
  • Curiosity. You take nothing as a given and want to genuinely understand the underlying operation, not just the numbers
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and an ever changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including working with stakeholders from remote and international teams
  • Desire to continually improve, including challenging the status quo and making changes to internal reporting outputs
  • Excellent relationship skills and an outgoing personality, with the ability to use both to build consensus and action across our business
