Working as part of a distributed team in New Zealand and with the option to meet at our offices in Christchurch or Auckland, you’ll be building the next generation of products for our US merchant partners - serving the needs of SME, mid-market and enterprise partners for our BNPL solutions, supporting them in building their retail and ecommerce businesses with Zip’s data and value-added services.
We use the latest Microsoft tech stack (.NET 6, Azure cloud) with event-driven architecture, microservices and Kubernetes - and so the more of this you know, the better! This is a tech stack that’s been built from the ground up with no legacy code, which means you’re able to engineer, test and deploy your solutions super-fast.
You’ll be working with modern agile development approaches, taking ownership of devops and quality for the software you create, supported by a fantastic team of engineers at every step - if this sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you!
To help us level up, you'll bring:
- Experience working as a software engineer in an agile team, using .NET Core to build microservices
- Knowledge of frontend development using Vue, Angular or React
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferable, AWS or GCP ok too!)
- Passion for Test-driven development (TDD)
- Understanding of RESTful API design
