Senior Software Engineer

  • Expert level experience working with C# .Net and some exposure to working in the front end, ideally with React.

As part of our Core Product Squad your work will be behind the products that are the backbone of Zip’s business.

As part of this team you’ll come up with innovative ideas to improve the functionality of our core products and work cross functionally with other key engineering squads to ensure that millions of our customers continue to enjoy seamless experiences whilst using Zip.

As a Senior Software Engineer in this squad we want you to lead key projects within the product enhancement space, making our products even better with scalable and stable solution design. 

Cool stuff you'll own

  • Play a key role in providing inputs to architectural and design discussions
  • Contribute to the growth and learning within Zip’s Engineering team
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager in a triad to discover and validate technical problems
  • Build secure code that can scale to reach thousands of concurrent users

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Expert-level experience in Software Development with expertise in .Net Core
  • Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL storage solutions
  • Technical excellence across design principles and code quality
  • Hands on experience working in a Microservices environment (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to cloud (AWS is preferred)
  • Problem solving attitude, willingness to try first and ask questions second!
