As a UX Researcher at Zip you’ll work on various strategic research projects, for example segmentation research - thinking about attitudes, behaviours, beliefs to help understand and guide our innovation approach to align with the strategic vision. 

You’ll be involved with democratising research at Zip regarding qualitative research. This involves quality testing and coaching others to help teams get the best insights and quality data.

You’ll also be responsible for Research Operations e.g. scoping, recruiting and analysis, while helping Product Managers and Product Designers conduct their own research. 

You’ll report into the Senior Manager of UX Research and sit within the wider Product Design & Research team, working cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Market Research, Marketing, Data analytics, and more.

This role is based out of our Sydney CBD office and offers a hybrid working arrangement (minimum 2 days in office per week). 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 2+ years of user research experience working in an agile/cross-functional environment
  • A portfolio/case-studies that demonstrate insight driven impact in both  product and the organisation - translating insights into actionable roadmap items
  • Experience driving end-to-end aspects of the research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and stakeholder presentations).
  • Knowledge of ResearchOps: recruitment, tooling, administrative tasks
  • A curiosity for uncovering the true “why” of a problem to ensure we build and design the right thing right 
  • An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor we are all leaders at Zip and effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles
