As a Senior Product Designer in our Repayments squad, you’ll be working across all of Zip AU’s complex products, focused on repayments experiences and improving key success metrics.

You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, and our Customer Experience team, to continuously explore and introduce new features that enhance and elevate our repayments experience.

You’ll mainly be designing across web app alongside some native design work, therefore we’re looking for a well-rounded Senior Product Designer who has experience across ‘Product’, UI, interaction, and UX design who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo by thinking critically and advocating for design quality to craft innovative experiences.

This is a hybrid position offering 2 days minimum in our Sydney CBD office. 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 5+ years working in interaction or product design
  • Mobile and web experience
  • Have a portfolio of interaction, visual design and UX work that demonstrates your ability to solve customer problems and drive strong business outcomes
  • Experience working on a range of complex products at one time (complex financial products are a bonus)
  • A curiosity for uncovering the true “why” of a problem
  • The ability to turn insights into thoughtful narratives - experience influencing others, storytelling, and strong communication
  • Experience collaborating, and facilitating design, negotiating with other disciplines
  • Experience running lightweight, lean design experiments
  • A history of driving end-to-end aspects of a piece of work. You know how to create a larger vision and how to slice into increments, and when to be lean
  • Excellent communications skills. You are accomplished at conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems
  • The ability to prioritise competing priorities in fast-paced environment
