Zip Bonus Box Terms and Conditions

Promoter
1.1 The promoter of this promotion is Zip Co NZ Finance Limited (NZBN 9429046581358) of Level 13, 5–7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand (“Zip”).

Promotion Period
2.1 The promotion commences at 09:00am NZDT on 2 March 2026 and ends at 11:59pm NZDT on 31 March 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
2.2 Entries, Bonus Box opens, and Bonus Bucks issued outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.

Eligibility
3.1 Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who:
(a) hold an active Zip Pay in 4 account in good standing (i.e. not in arrears or default);
(b) remain opted in to receive marketing communications from Zip until the end of the Promotional Period; and
(c) have the latest version of the Zip mobile application (“App”) installed on a compatible device (Note: some users may be required to update to the latest available version of the App to participate).
3.2 Employees and immediate family members of employees of Zip, its related companies, participating retailers, agents, and any agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3.3 Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Bonus Box and Bonus Bucks (Instant Win Discount Codes)
4.1 During the Promotion Period, eligible entrants may open one (1) Bonus Box per calendar day within the Zip App.
4.2 Each time an eligible entrant opens a Bonus Box, they will have a 1% random chance of receiving an instant discount code (“Bonus Bucks”).
4.3 If an eligible entrant is selected to receive Bonus Bucks, the discount code will be revealed in-app and confirmed via in-app notification and/or email, typically within 5 minutes of opening the Bonus Box (except in the case of technical difficulties or outages, in which case notification will occur as soon as reasonably possible). No notification will be given for unsuccessful Bonus Box opens.
4.4 Bonus Bucks will consist of one of the following discount offers, selected at random:
(a) $10 off any Zip purchase of $100 or more;
(b) $20 off any Zip purchase of $200 or more; or
(c) $50 off any Zip purchase of $500 or more.
4.5 Bonus Bucks:
(a) are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue;
(b) must be applied at checkout to a Zip Pay in 4 purchase meeting the applicable minimum spend threshold referred to in sub-clauses 4.1(a), 4.1(b), and 4.1(c) above;
(c) are single-use only;
(d) are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or Zip credit; and
(e) cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional code unless expressly stated by Zip.
4.6 If a purchase made using Bonus Bucks is refunded, returned, or cancelled, the Bonus Bucks will be deemed used and will not be reissued.
4.7 Zip reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or invalidate any Bonus Bucks issued in error or obtained through fraudulent or improper means.

Sweepstakes Entry Mechanics
5.1 During the Promotion Period, eligible entrants may earn entries into the Bonus Box Sweepstakes draw (“Sweepstakes”) as follows:
(a) Non-Winning Bonus Box Entry: One (1) entry for each day an eligible entrant opens a Bonus Box and does not receive Bonus Bucks.
(b) Eligible Zip Purchase Entry: Five (5) entries for each successful eligible purchase made using Zip (online or in-store) at a participating Zip merchant during the Promotion Period.
(c) Bonus Merchant Bonus Day Entry: Twenty (20) entries for each successful eligible purchase made using Zip at a specified “Bonus Merchant” on that merchant’s specified “Bonus Day” during the Promotion Period.
5.2 Multiple entries are permitted; each eligible purchase counts as a separate entry.
5.3 All entries must be associated with the entrant’s active Zip account and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
5.4 A list of participating merchants and Bonus Merchants and their applicable Bonus Days will be published at zip.co/nz/bonus-box and advertised via the Zip App, store directory, participating merchants, email, and other Zip marketing channels.
5.5 Purchases that are subsequently returned, refunded, reversed, voided or cancelled for any reason, or found to be fraudulent will not be eligible for entries and any associated entries referred to in sub-clauses 5.1(b) and 5.1(c) will also be removed.
5.6 There is no minimum spend requirement for entries under clauses 5.1(b) and 5.1(c), unless otherwise specified by Zip.
5.7 Entries are automatically allocated to the eligible entrant’s Zip account and no manual entry is required.
5.8 Zip may, at its discretion, verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or attempts to obtain entries through automated, fraudulent, or improper means (including, without limitation, the use of bots, scripts, or multiple accounts).
5.9 Entries are deemed to be received at the time recorded by Zip’s systems and not at the time of submission by the entrant.

Prize Details — Sweepstakes
6.1 The following prizes are available to be won in the Sweepstakes:
(a) One (1) prize of NZD $5,000;
(b) Two (2) prizes of NZD $1,500 each; and
(c) Four (4) prizes of NZD $500 each.
6.2 The total prize pool is NZD $10,000.
6.3 Prizes will be paid by direct bank transfer to each confirmed winner’s nominated New Zealand bank account.
6.4 Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for Zip credit or any other form of consideration.
6.5 Zip accepts no responsibility for any tax liability incurred by a winner in connection with a prize and makes no representations in relation to any tax implications relating to the Prize.

Winner Selection and Notification
7.1 The Sweepstakes draw will take place at Zip’s Auckland office at Level 13, 5–7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand on 7 April 2026.
7.2 Winners will be determined by random electronic draw from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
7.3 Winners will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact details associated with their Zip account.
7.4 Zip will make reasonable efforts to contact winners. If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the draw, or fails to provide valid banking details within seven (7) business days, Zip reserves the right to conduct a redraw to determine an alternate winner.
7.5 The Prizes will be paid to the confirmed winners by direct bank transfer to each confirmed winner’s nominated New Zealand bank account within ten (10) business days of verification, and no later than 24 April 2026
7.6 Zip’s determination of winners (and any redraws) is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

Publicity and Privacy
8.1 By entering this promotion, entrants consent to Zip using their first name, last initial, and region of residence for the purpose of announcing and promoting winners in connection with this promotion, without compensation or further notice.
8.2 Winners may be announced via Zip’s marketing channels, including (without limitation) Zip’s website, email communications, social media platforms, and in-app communications.
8.3 As part of the promotion, Zip may invite winners (or selected entrants) to participate in promotional content, including recorded phone calls, audio recordings, testimonials, interviews, photography, or video content. Participation in such promotional content is entirely voluntary.
8.4 Where Zip wishes to use an entrant’s voice recording (including an edited portion of a recorded phone call) for promotional or marketing purposes, Zip will first obtain the entrant’s express written consent. The entrant’s voice constitutes personal information and may constitute biometric information for the purposes of the Privacy Act 2020.
8.5 If consent is provided:
(a) Zip may use, reproduce, edit, publish, communicate, and display the entrant’s voice recording (including a short, edited portion of a phone call) on Zip’s digital channels, including its website, app, social media platforms, email communications, and other marketing materials;
(b) Zip may identify the entrant by their first name and voice in connection with such promotional material;
(c) the recording may be edited to remove sensitive, private, or confidential information; and
(d) the material may be used for promotional and marketing purposes without further compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.6 Consent to the use of voice recordings for promotional purposes:
(a) must be provided in writing (including by email confirmation in a form specified by Zip);
(b) may be withdrawn at any time prior to publication by notifying Zip in writing; and
(c) does not affect the entrant’s eligibility to receive a prize if consent is not provided.
8.7 Zip will collect, store, use, disclose and otherwise handle all personal information (including any voice recordings) collected, disclosed, and otherwise used in connection with this promotion in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and Zip’s Privacy Policy, available at https://zip.co/nz/privacy.
8.8 Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information, or make enquiries about how their information is handled, by contacting Zip via the details set out in the Privacy Policy.

General Terms
9.1 Zip reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion, including any Prize details, where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation), acts of God, health restrictions, technical failures or fraud.
9.2 Zip accepts no responsibility for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical malfunction, failure, or human error that affects participation in this promotion.
9.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zip shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, or consequential loss) arising in connection with this promotion, the awarding of Bonus Bucks, or the Sweepstakes prizes.
9.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies any rights available under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other applicable law.

Governing Law
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes arising in relation to this promotion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
