There are no extra fees or charges when you use a Zip Single-Use Card, unless you’re making a foreign transaction with Zip Pay or Zip Money.
If you make a purchase in another currency, the Visa exchange rate at the time will apply. A 3%* foreign transaction fee will also be charged on the amount once it’s converted to Australian dollars. This includes transactions made in Australian dollars while overseas.
There are no foreign transaction fees when you use Zip Plus.
Just a reminder:
- Your usual account fees still apply if you have an outstanding balance at the end of the month.
- Interest will apply to Zip Plus purchases if your balance is over $1,500 at month-end, and to Zip Money purchases once your interest-free period ends (up to 3 months).
* As communicated in our updated T&Cs email/SMS sent 11 November 2025 and effective as of 3 April 2025 for Zip Plus & Zip Money, effective as of 2 May 2025 for Zip Pay.
