What information do we ask for?
When you apply for a Zip account, we may collect and verify the following:
- The maximum credit limit you require.
- Identity and credit checks: These help us understand your previous borrowing behavior and assess your .
- Income and expenses: This gives us a clearer picture of your current financial circumstances. Please ensure to only include your own income and your personal share of expenses including those of your dependants.

Once your application has been assessed, we’ll let you know your approved credit limit via the Zip app or email.
