How does my business apply for Zip?
Complete the application form, it takes a few minutes and you’ll find out if your business is eligible within 48 hours. Your business will be assessed on various criteria including the length of time they’ve been trading and their total annual sales.
What other information do you need from me?
We’ll ask you for your:
- Personal details – including your name, contact number and email address
- Business details – including your total annual sales average, website URL and ecommerce platform
- Your main business address and business contact number
- Director’s details – including name, address, contact details and a form of ID such as a driving licence or passport
What are the fees?
We don’t charge signup fees, setup fees or lock our merchants into contracts. Our merchant service fees are charged per transaction and determined on an individual assessment of your business.
When do I get paid?
You’ll receive the full purchase amount (minus our agreed merchant fee) in your allocated bank account the business day following a purchase.
What happens if a customer doesn't pay their instalments?
Our merchant fee allows us to assume all credit risk, so you’ll always be paid the full purchase amount (minus our agreed fee) the business day following a purchase. If a customer misses an instalment, it’s our responsibility to recover it, but the vast majority of our customers pay their instalments on time.
Do I have to commit to a fixed term?
No. We believe in our product and are confident that once you start accepting Zip, you’ll want to stay working with us. However if you ever feel Zip isn’t working for you, you can remove the integration at any time.
