  • No. You can cancel your ZMobile service at any time. However, please note that all services are prepaid and non-refundable.
    Any unused credit or remaining plan balance will be lost once your number is deactivated or transferred to another carrier.

  • All ZMobile plans are prepaid, meaning you pay upfront when you sign up and at the start of each new billing cycle. The best part? There are no lock-in contracts.
  • Yes, eSIM is available across all our mobile plans by default. Check our list eSIM compatible devices here.
  • Yes! You can bring your own number or get a new one - it's up to you. Simply choose your preferred option on sign up.
  • You can sign up and activate your ZMobile plan through the Zip app. Simply login to the Zip app and access the sign up process via the Discover ZMobile link.
  • ZMobile is powered by the Vodafone 5G/4G network covering 98.4% of the Australian population.

  • You can cancel your ZMobile plan at any time with no exit fees. Or, if you need a break, you can also pause your plan for up to 115 days, after which time your account will be suspended.

  • We’re sorry to see you go! To make your transition as smooth as possible, here is everything you need to know before you leave:
    If you are taking your number with you: To switch to a new provider, just give them your ZMobile service number and your date of birth (ensure it matches the one on your ZMobile account). They will contact us directly, and we’ll handle the transfer without any hassle.
    If you are cancelling without keeping your number: Please contact our Customer Care team via the Zip app (go to Manage your ZMobile > Chat).
    Important Reminders:

    • Refunds: All ZMobile services are prepaid and non-refundable.
    • Credits: Any remaining balance or data will be forfeited once you leave.
    • Data Loss: If you cancel your number, you will lose access to it permanently, and any saved voicemails will be deleted.

  • Standalone smartwatch data isn't supported at this time. However, your watch will continue to work perfectly via Bluetooth as long as it remains within range of your phone.
  • iPhone

    • Settings > Mobile > under mobile plans, pick the eSIM you'd like to remove > Remove Mobile Data Plan.

    Google Pixel

    • Settings > Network and internet > SIMs > pick the eSIM you'd like to remove > toggle 'Use SIM' to off > Delete SIM.

    Samsung

    • Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > pick the eSIM you'd like to remove > Remove > enter your phone's unlock PIN > follow the prompts to remove.

    If these steps don't match what your phone is displaying, it's best to consult your device's manufacturer. Please note, that removing an eSIM does not cancel your mobile plan. If you’d like to cancel it as well, you’ll need to do so in the ZMobile service via Zip app.
